Looking at the prices of them compared to whats available for my Rover P5B i thought i might go for a pair of hyabusa ones. Not sure what they would sound like though :-/. DaveNotSoSideways Posted January 31, 2009 Share Posted January 31, 2009 Bikes are either "baffled" or "straight through" Watch out for "baffled" they can be restrictive, but straight through are noisey I have used bike cans on my Spitfire for years! no difference at all to a pair of straight through sports pipes for a car...You can usually REPACK a Micron bike silencer, BIG bonus. Use atleast two "S-T" bike cans...with a another silencer in the middle of the car. If you used two BAFFLED ones, might be ok, measure the smallest bore size, double it and compare the overall area of the two bores to the pipes on the car... mattius Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 I went for the R1 exhaust cause of the extremely long silencer and its titanium, car exhausts this long are hard to find and titanium silencers cost a bomb, this thing cost me £40 and is mint.
