  3. Hello. Please advice me for correct jetting on Dellorto DHLA 40E (5 progression holes). Engine: 1.4 (79mm bore, 71mm stroke) 306 degree camshaft, 2.5mm LATDC. 4-1 exhaust manifold, 51mm pipe. Carbs jetting: idle 7850.2/52 (little lean, AFR=14.7-13.8 from 1000 to 3000) 32mm chokes .2 venturi .6 emulsion tube 155 air corrector 118 main jet (maybe very lean on the high revs, but currently i'm not rev up the engine more than 3500 rpm. only 150 miles after engine rebuild.) 40 pump jets. Also i have emulsion tube 7772.7, aux. venturi 7848.1, idle jet holder 7850.1, and many jets. Will work correctly .2 venturi with .6 emulsion tube ? maybe .1 venturi will be best ? I want tune carbs for long progression (currently engine is little stumble around 3000 rpm). Please help me. Thank you.
  4. Sorry, but we don't have rolling road closer than 550 km from my city. And operator of rolling road have no experience with dellorto. In my city (1 000 000 peoples) only a few cars (two .. may be three) running on dellorto dhla or weber dcoe. Also in my country unrealistic to buy a spare jets for dellorto. I buy them in Italy (ebay seller alfa1750).
  5. I installed race camshaft on my 1.6 with dhla 40. Timing: 64-96 93-61 Lift@TDC 5.2/4.9 mm My current jetting: chokes 36mm main jets 150 air correctors 155 tube 7772.7 Very lean after 5000 RPM. AFR 13.5-14.5. IMHO main jets is too small.. Help me please.

I have the twin DHLA 40E on my Lada Samara 1615cc (8v, forged pistons, ported head, big valves, compression ratio 11, 294 cam duration and 4mm extra lift than stock ones, lift @TDC 2.8mm, exhaust manifold 4-1, etc). The current setup is listed below. Chokes 32 Main Jet 132 Emulsion Tube 7772.7 Air Corrector 175 Idle Jet 52 long-nose Idle Jet Holder 7850.1 Pump Jet 33 5 progression holes. Aux. venturi .2 Fuel level 27 mm. I have some troubles Idle speed is ok - 900 (+-40) rpm, but idle mixture screw turn out 6.5 turns! This is normal for DHLA 40E ? Video: Flame color in combustion chamber at idle is correct (bunsen blue). And i have hesitation on 2700-3200 RPM. I need to know the jet settings. Help me please. Thanks.
