  1. Wow, that really looks like the original Did you check with the hood frame on the car that the final distances work out fine? Better do that now before you fabricate the second one JC

  4. Welcome Duncan Looking forward to some pics of this infamous A30. Will Midget disc brakes cope with such a potent engine ?? JC

  6. Well done, getting to the finish on this rallye is quite a challenge I have been down in the Ardèche region last weekend to have a lock at the Monte Carlo Historique. All these small roads are enormous fun during the day, but once it gets dark its quite different. I suppose that the last night stages are really challenging If you like driving on small empty roads with bend after bend for mile after mile you need to go down to the Ardèche one day! Unfortunately I didn't see the Spitfire during the stages so no photos which the car in action ... Spitfire in Reims Crest, Rhone valley Typical road in the Ardeche Bond GT 6 mk 2 Triumph 2000 JC
  7. Very sad news, his humor, technical knowledge and attention to detail will be sadly missed. RIP Alan JC

  15. I use the 100w bulbs with relays on both the Spitfire and Vitesse. Works well and never let me down. Some people say that the headlights will wear out faster, but how many hours do you drive in the dark …... JC
