Mark
Had a motorbike for years, last one, an old BMW F650 which was a really great bike which I owned for about 10 years before it was stolen. Never bought anything new before but a couple of years ago as I was always working on cars and needed a reliable bike and didn't want to have to work on anything else , decided to buy the Triumph 800 XC. It's great bike, but since then I have felt obliged to get it serviced at a dealer to keep the service book stamped up to date, which grates. I envisaged keeping it like my other bike for many years, but now I don't commute on it, it's not used much I am considering selling it. I knew when I bought it that it would depreciate as soon as it rolled out of the dealers, which it has, but was considering buying an older bike instead, maybe a BSA, AJS or even building a Bobber of some sought, still undecided. Don't think I could be without a bike for long though. Mark
