I recently picked up the body shown below. The car is completely unknown but appears to have been a special cobbled together from a moulded floorpan from a Triumph Herlad and a body moulded from an E-Type Jag cut and shut to fit. Whoever did it had good skills as it is a cohesive shape. The windscreen surround is steel and hidden under copious amounts of filler.

Unfortunately it has been badly treated for the past decade or more and has been cut about. In addition the previous owner gave the chassis and running gear away to a Herald owner, thinking that it was not correct for the car.

The plan at this stage is to replicate a Herald chassis and use Triumph front suspension and 1960's Alfa engine and gearbox.

Has anyone seen this car before?
