was head scratching with my spitfire rear suspention,
so to kill some time, I got the angle gringer out fitted with a cutting disc.

I am going to cut loads of holes in the back half of the compleat tank, then weld the half of the other tank on.
it will prob hold and extra 8 to 10 liters
it wont need baffels :teehee:

Ahh, I didn't see that either but now I like the idea. Might still need a baffle though as you want to control side to side shifting....

It fill out the space behind the seats so to speak, I don't store my soft top (mines a mk2 spit) behind the pannel, so its just empty space.
Not anymore :)

I did wander why no one does a replica le-mans tank for spitfires?

doesn't matter to me, my spitfire uses 20L a year :D i really must drive it. however when looking into building the replica i had no response getting any contact out the owner of a few long range tanks let alone trying to buy one off him.
