Happy birthday Nick!

But may I say, as someone who has 'known' you online for a while - your depth of knowledge, wisdom, experience and steadfast nature plus your continual reinforcement of a 'senior moment' personality make you sound MUCH older!

I'd have guessed.... 58?

For God's sake - you're younger than me!

Many happy bounces Nick - and thanks for sharing yourself with us lot :D

Thanks guys :)

Not sure about "fettling" any girls - aren't there laws about things like that? Been driving the management around in the PI today - luckily we got home again without any unscheduled stops.

As for the depth of knowledge.... I fear that the rate of learning and remembering may be proportional to the number of past mistakes made......

cheers

Nick

Edit: adjustment..... eeek! there's something to live up to!

At least he's still a year away from having to tick the 'over 45' box on survey forms.

Not long now until I have to start ticking the '35 - 45' box. Imagine having to tick the same box as someone who's 45!!!

I'll keep on pretending to be 28...........

Over 45???? Get over yerselves!!! I am now apparently of an age that the media refers to as "elderly" when its suits them. Believe me, Winter Warm allowance and a free bus pass do not compensate!!!

I've noticed that the media often describe 60 somethings as elderly too. To my mind, elderly means frail and old, ie 80 plus, not someone in their 60s!

My grandmother used to refer, slightly pityingly to "old people" when she was well in her 80's. Used to make me smile, especially since some of her targets were younger than she. She didn't like being old, but fortunately didn't consider herself to be old until she reached her 90s.
