Also, the thing's a virtual chick magnet. All the chickies gathered round it at the local car show last Sept. Of course, I don't need to attract chicks, being a happily married man, but . . .

Got mine back on the road for the winter and already had good fun skidding on wet roads ;D
Did you check if its worth patching the sills instead of changing them and doing some serious rustproufing underneath ?
They are pretty cheap too and usually there is rust underneath at the same time you need to change the front wings and B-posts ....
Also check the doors and if not rusted through you need to rustproof them.
I suppose you know the cheap and easy suspension modification tips ;)

You'll also find the quality of mini parts less variable? As with Ford, we don't half have to deal with some over-priced crap for Triumphs.
You can build a 9000rpm 200HP Pinto for less than a crap rebuild on a 6 pot.
