I'm in a mindset of late to clear out the excess crap in my life and that includes the spare GT6's I've had sitting around. The selling point is that they're relatively rust free so I've made a couple connections. I'm making a deal on the red GT6 that you all may remember as "The New GT6" on Photobucket.

There's a really nice guy in Texas that wants it and I'm giving it to him at my cost. My profit is keeping the engine and trans.

That said, now that I've pulled the thing out and actually put "hands" on it I'm getting that restoration nag. The car is sad by my standards and I'm trying to transmit that clearly but I'm starting to see what he sees in the car. He's attracted to the rustfree bit that I take for granted whilst I focus on the dents. It's actually a pretty sound starting point.

I'm going to add a couple of good doors to the deal so he has all the glass to work with.

Today I notice the Group 44 GT6 advert pic is gone! Frame is there, pic is gone. Has society so far deteriorated that a mans GT6 pics are no longer safe?

The computer is still here, all of the tools too, but the pic is gone. It had to be an inside job so if one of you wants to confess there'll be no further questions.... :teehee:

It's so wonderful how so many Hollywood royalty have such left wing views despite their mega-millions (he supports Cuba also)!

As a veteran who did his bit to keep those islands British, I will take notice of his obvious wisdom when, in the words of the Daily Torygraph, he offers to hand his Malibu mansion back to Mexico!

According to a news report, a certain private school in Brisbane was recently faced with a unique problem.

A number of 12-year-old girls were beginning to use lipstick and would put it on in the bathroom. That was fine, but after they put on their lipstick they would press their lips to the mirror leaving dozens of little lip prints.

Every night the maintenance man would remove them and the next day the girls would put them back.

Finally the principal decided that something had to be done. She called all the girls to the bathroom and met them there with the maintenance man. She explained that all these lip prints were causing a major problem for the custodian who had to clean the mirrors every night (you can just imagine the yawns from the little princesses). To demonstrate how difficult it had been to clean the mirrors, she asked the maintenance
man to show the girls how much effort was required.

He took out a long-handled squeegee, dipped it in the toilet, and cleaned the mirror with it.

I need a mile muncher, im looking at spending £10k or under on something, needs to be a saloon, needs to be diseasel and be able to handle the amount of miles im doing now.

I drove a focus TDCI at the weekend and although i like them it was crap in the snow, at the moment im stuck between a passat and a bmw 5 series.

It would need to be a 520d the 530d is too thirsty, i need to beat the 40mpg the mazda gives me, i mainly drive motorways so cruise control is a must, auto is a consideration, 5 series just seems to give a lot for the money.

Other outsider is an S40 but it looks so god damn boring inside!
